Create customized place settings for your family
Kirsten Obert, manager/owner of Color Me Mine in the Shops at
Riverwoods, says it's not difficult to create your own custom place
settings.
"Your custom place settings don't have to be artistic. Even if your
3-year-old works on his or her own plate, it's OK. What they come up
with is special. It's their own work," says Obert.
Color Me Mine staff can offer their counsel to amateur ceramic
artists.
"We can help people pick out plates and colors. We also have many
different types of stamps and stencils," Obert says.
After your family is finished painting their own glasses and
plates, Color Me Mine will take care of glazing the project and firing
your new master pieces in a kiln.
A few days later you can come back and pick-up your newly-created,
treasured family heirloom.
